Learn About MECK Pre-K
and other Smart Start Programs
Come see MECK Pre-K! We can do MECK Pre-K enrollments, sign families up for Dolly Parton Imagination Library, sign-ups and inform parents of all our Smart Start programs, including The Basics, Ready4K and Guiding Parents to Services. Please ask for MECK Pre-K at the information desk.

The purpose of this event is to connect families and students in Southwest Charlotte with valuable resources, services, and organizations.

18th Annual Community Day at West Charlotte Recreation Center
The Charlotte Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc, in collaboration with Mecklenburg County Parks and Recreation will host an interactive event to bring awareness of various resources available to the community of Meck County.

Earth Day at Independent Picture House
A fantastic opportunity to connect with families, share resources, and celebrate our amazing planet together. PBS KIDS’ Nature Cat will be screening at 11:00 AM. After that, we’ll continue the fun outdoors until 2:00 PM.
